Yemeni army launches offensive on coalition-backed militants in Bayda

BAYDA, Sept. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Saturday launched a large-scale attack on the positions of the coalition-backed militants at Tabat Jamil in Qifah district in the central province of Bayda, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack left dozens of the Takfiri militants killed and injured in Al-Akhadeed sites, the official added.

The official indicated that the attack inflicted massive casualties on the militants’ ranks.
