Medea Benjamin: Saudi Arabia is the real threat to international community
SANAA, Sept. 22 (YPA)- Activists in social media circulated a footage showing the activist Medea Benjamin interrupting a US official at an anti-Iran event a rightwing think tank.
“The international community wants to keep the nuclear deal with Iran,” Benjamin said. Our allies Germany, Britain, and France want to keep it. ”
“Let’s talk about Saudi Arabia, is that our allies are? They are the real threat to the international community. ”
“I want to ask: Do you think these sanctions harm the regime (in Iran) or do they harm the Iranian people? They are harming the Iranian people. ”
“You are dealing with the same way you did with Iraq, we don’t want a new war in the Middle East, look how Iraq turn, and how is Libya turn now. Look at the suffering of Yemeni people.
