President orders to release media, political detainees

SANAA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Thursday ordered to release on all detainers, who arrested about media and political issues.

The declaration came during his speech to the Yemeni people in marking of the fourth anniversary of national day of the September 21.

“On national days, we direct Ministry of the Interior, Public Prosecution and all security agencies to continue to improve the conditions of prisons to release all detainees, who are not involved in criminal or state security causes,” al-Mashat said.
