WEST BANK, Aug. 02 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched at dawn on Saturday a campaign of arrests and raids targeting a number of Palestinian citizens in various areas of the occupied West Bank.
The raids focused on the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas, where several family members were arrested as part of a policy of pressure and harassment.
The occupation forces stormed the town with dozens of soldiers and vehicles. Infantry units deployed inside residential neighborhoods, raided several homes, and arrested four citizens, including a woman, to pressure their relatives to surrender.
During the same raid, the occupation forces also arrested the wife and father of a Palestinian man, his sister, and a girl whose identity has not yet been determined, as part of their ongoing persecution and harassment of resistance fighters.
In the city of Qalqilya, the Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian boy after raiding his family’s home at dawn today.
In the city of Jenin, a young man from the west of the city was arrested.
In the town of Samou, south of Hebron, the occupation forces arrested a citizen during a raid on the Rafat Triangle area. The occupation forces also stormed the city of Nablus and arrested a young man after raiding his home. Another citizen was arrested in the town of Duma, southeast of Nablus.
