81 died of Mangkhut in Philippines
SANAA, Sep. 19 (YPA) – The death toll from Typhoon Mangkhut, which hit the earthen part of the Philippines on Friday, climbed to 81, causing casualties, injuries and destruction is unprecedented.
The Philippine authorities said about 60 people were still missing, indicated that most of the dead were victims of landslides due to heavy rains.
After the Philippines, the Typhoon hit China and hit Hong Kong and China’s densely populated Guangdong province, causing heavy human and material losses.
The diameter of the Typhoon, also known as Umbong, is 900 kilometers long and moves at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour.
