Radio Afaq FM condemns targeting Hodeidah radio

SANAA, Sep. 16 (YPA) – Afaq FM Radio condemned on Sunday the attack on Hodeidah radio by the US-backed Saudi-led warplanes that killed four of employees.
In a statement, Afaq FM radio considered the coalition’s targeting the aggression of Hodeidah Radio as a crime contrary to the ethics of war and constitutions of nations.
Afaq FM pointed out that this crime comes within dozens of crimes against the national media, including targeting the broadcasting station of Afaq Radio, for nearly four years in the shadow of shameful global silence.
The statement called on the media in the world to unite with the Yemeni media, which has become a target of coalition, calling also on international human rights organizations to pressure the coalition to stop its aggression against the Yemeni people and not to target media institutions.
The statement stressed that the employees of Afaq will remain in the face of coalition with a sincere word and free voice and will spare no effort or possibility to detect the crimes of the coalition.
