National delegation to Geneva consultations meets UN envoy

SANAA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – The National delegation met on Sunday in Sanaa the UN envoy Martin Griffiths to Yemen on the peace consultations would be held Geneva.

The delegation expressed a discontent inability to attend the Geneva consultations called by the UN envoy due to obstacle imposed by Saudi-led coalition towards the UN peace efforts.

The delegation stressed on the importance of sharing in the consultations and confidence-building  for alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, who are facing the coalition military escalation, which destroyed all aspects of life, imposed all-out siege and closed Sana’a International airport.

Meanwhile, the UN envoy regretted the inability of the national delegation to leave the capital Sanaa, stressing on work to reach to the peace solution.
