Saada governor inaugurates new water project in Saada provincial city

SAADA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – Saada governor Mohammad Awadh and regional manager for Oxfam organization in Yemen on Sunday inaugurated the project of water in neighborhoods of Jawazat and Sahn in Saada provincial city.

The project executed by Oxfam with funds of the Swiss agency for development and Cooperation and Stanley Tomas Johnson Foundation under the supervision of the Local Corporation for Water and Sanitarian in al-Hares area with a cost estimated to $254 thousands.

The project compose of a Water Tank with 250 cubic meter capacity, more than 17 thousands meters of pipes, pumping units.

The project from which will take benefit 2576 families will function depending on solar system pumping in his 3rd stage with a cost estimated to $ 80 thousands.
