Syrian President directs to visit Syrian armed factions
SANAA, Sep. 15 (YPA) – Syrian President, Bashar al-Assad, directed his defense minister, Ali Abdullah Ayoub, to visit Syrian armed factions in the villages of Hama, Idlib and Lattakia, the Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
Idlib was the main destination of all armed factions that refused to enter the reconciliation process in the Syrian provinces in conjunction with the military operations of the Syrian army.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in remarks on Friday that “what is being said about the start of the attack by the Syrian forces (in Idlib) with Russian support is an unfair talk and distortion of the facts and the Syrian forces respond only to attacks from the Idlib region.”
Syria has been suffering since March 2011 from an armed conflict in which the government forces of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad confront armed groups belonging to various armed organizations, most notably the radicalization of the Da’ash organization and Jabhat-Nasrah, two organizations banned in Russia, which United States put them on the list of terrorist movements.
