President stresses on security agencies’ role in maintaining security

SANAA, Feb. 19 (YPA) – President Saleh Al-Sammad on Monday stressed on the security agencies’ role in maintaining security and stability especially in the current critical stage.

This came during his meeting with Interior Minister Major General Abdulhakeem Al-Maweri and Inspector-General in the ministry General Ibrahim Al-Moayad.

The president urged placing a plan for the ministry’s work for the coming months to overcome the security challenges.

“The security situation in the capital Sanaa and other provinces is witnessing a stable security situation.., unlike the provinces under the control of the occupation (Saudi-led coalition forces),” Al-Sammad said.

He emphasized the need to develop the level of security performance and enhance security vigilance in line with the magnitude of the current challenges.
