Scores of civilians killed in Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen

SANAA, Feb. 17 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition warplanes waged on Saturday a series of strikes on several Yemeni provinces, killing and injuring dozens of civilians, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.
In Nehm district, northeast capital Sanaa, the coalition fighter jets launched a strike on a car of a citizen in al-Aqran area, which led to killing and wounding several people.
In northern province of Saada, a number of civilians were killed in Saudi-led airstrikes on Kutaf district, while a citizen was killed and his house destroyed in an airstrike hit his home in Razih dstirct.
Meanwhile, Saudi army launched an artillery and rocket bombing on Saada’s border district of Monabeh, causing heavy damage in citizens’ houses and property.
In Hajjah province, a citizen was killed when the coalition’s airstrikes hit his truck in Mor valley, which links between Amran and Hajjah provinces.
In the province of Taiz, several civilians were killed and others injured when the coalition fighter jets hit their car in Maqbana district.
