10 pro-coalition militants killed, 15 injured in friendly fire in Jawf

JAWF, Aug. 19 (YPA) – At least 10 militiamen loyal to Saudi-led coalition, including leaders, were killed on Sunday and 15 others injured in friendly fire air attack in Khab Washaf district of Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The coalition warplanes waged three airstrikes, targeting gathering of the pro-coalition in Khab Washaf district, which resulted in the killing of 10, injuring 15 others and destroying three vehicles belonging to them, the official said.

Targeting of the pro-coalition militants by air raids comes in the context of repeated and direct targeting of Islah Party followers by countries operating within the coalition.
