UAE-backed factions attack exiled Hadi’s authorities in Socotra

SOCOTRA, Aug. (YPA) – The UAE occupation backed factions waged an attack against the exiled Hadi’s authorities in Socotra Island, a reported told Yemen Press Agency.

The offensive came After the severe crisis had broken out between the UAE occupation forces and Saudi-paid Ben Daghr’s authorities due to the deployment of the UAE military forces at the Socotra airport and island.

The reporter said that armed groups led by tribal figure Suleiman Abdahal loyal to the UAE, began to spread and create a security chaos in an attempt to carry out a coup against the local authorities backed by Saudi regime.

The armed groups started the deployment in Hadibu city, the capital of Socotra.
