leaders of southern transitional council arrested in Shabwa
SHABWA, Aug. 14 (YPA) – Armed militias on Tuesday arrested a number of southern transitional council leaders in, Shabwa province, the correspondent of Yemen Press Agency reported.
The armed militias belonging to Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and Islah Party, arrested Saleh Awad al-Musabi, the head of the Political Department of the southern transition in Behan, and a number of leaders, after attacking the residence of the inauguration celebration of the southern transition brunch in Bayhan district, confiscating all devices and banners for participants.

A state of military tension prevails in Bayhan, amid the widespread of Mohsen militiamen and the Islah Party, and the arrival of military reinforcements coming from Marib province.
The interior ministry of exiled government of Hadi announced last week that Bayhn district of Shabwa province is a new security zone of the so-called “special forces in Marib, by the Brotherhood leader, Mohammed Salim bin Abboud, which is the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Hadi in Aden.
Bihan is administratively and geographically affiliated with Shabwa. However, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and the leaders of the Islah Party want to annex it to Marib province.
