UNICEF cargo plane arrives at Sana’a International Airport

SANAA, Aug.11 (YPA) – A United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) cargo plane arrived on Saturday at Sanaa International Airport, carrying special vaccines for routine immunization.

The director of vaccine management in the immunization program Taha Al-Aqari said that the vaccines contain 273,600 vials of pneumococcal vaccine, 163,800 doses of measles and rubella vaccine.

Al-Aqari pointed out that the cargo plane included 201,200 vials of oral paralysis vaccine in addition to 35,000 vials of the vaccine for muscle paralysis and 82,150 vials of the BCG vaccine, which are used for all children under the year.
