GAZA, Oct. 03 (YPA) – Five Palestinians, including four women, were killed and several others injured early Saturday morning in an Israeli occupation strike targeting a residential apartment in western Gaza City, local Palestinian sources reported.
According to the sources, Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the ground floor of the “Al-Asalah” building, located opposite the Al-Yazji Bakery near the Haidar Abdel-Shafi Roundabout west of Gaza City.
The casualties were identified as Mary Hafiz Abu Dawoud, her daughter Maysa Abu Dawoud, Dr. Yasmeen Al-Bubu, and Bilal Ouda, alongside an unidentified woman.
Emergency and rescue teams transferred the deceased and injured to nearby hospitals, while operations continue to search for victims trapped beneath the rubble.
Since the ceasefire agreement, approximately 1,450 Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured, while the Israeli occupation military has destroyed hundreds of homes and infrastructure, maintaining control over approximately 70% of the Gaza Strip.
