Palestinian killed, others injured in Israeli bombardment across Gaza Strip

GAZA, Oct. 01 (YPA) – One Palestinian was killed and several others were injured on Thursday due to Israeli occupation artillery shelling, drone strikes, and gunfire targeting various areas of the Gaza Strip, amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Local sources reported that Musab Al-Balbisi died from injuries sustained during an Israeli strike on the Jabalia refugee camp several days ago. Additionally, multiple civilians were wounded when an Israeli drone targeted the vicinity of the Al-Attar area in Mawasi Khan Younis.

Heavy Israeli artillery shelling hit eastern regions of Khan Younis, accompanied by gunfire directed at displacement camps south of Mawasi Rafah. Israeli occupation forces also bombarded eastern areas of Gaza City, conducting four airstrikes on uninhabited residential homes near the “Yellow Line” east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.

Illumination flares were launched by Israeli occupation forces over the northern Gaza Strip, alongside heavy machinery fire recorded south of Khan Younis.
