Greece deploys Israeli long-range missiles on Aegean islands

ATHENS, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Greek media reports indicate that Athens has deployed Spike NLOS long-range missile systems, purchased from the Israeli occupation, on several Aegean islands.

The OnAlert news website reported on Wednesday that Greek forces have deployed the systems on some islands, and new batches are scheduled to be deployed gradually in areas of the eastern Aegean Sea and the Erici region bordering Turkey.

The website noted that the use of these missiles requires special training, and that the relevant authorities aim to accelerate the training and gradually incorporate the systems into military exercises, pointing out that the delivery of the missiles is still ongoing and aims to receive the majority of the order by the end of this year.
