Sanaa forces take down senior leaders of Amaliqa brigades’ factions

SANAA, Sept. 26 (YPA) – Several leaders of Saudi- and UAE-aligned factions were killed and wounded in clashes with Sanaa forces.

Pro-Saudi and pro-UAE media outlets on Saturday reported the deaths and injuries of several commanders from the so-called al-Amaliqa brigades in operations carried out by Sanaa forces.

The sources said those identified among the dead included recruit Shuaib Salim Alwani, son of Salim Alwani, chief of staff of the Sixth Amaliqa Brigade. His father, described as a senior commander, was reportedly seriously wounded and transferred to hospital in critical condition following heavy clashes between Sanaa forces and Saudi- and UAE-aligned forces.

The report alleged that Saudi- and UAE-affiliated media outlets sought to conceal the location of the incident, creating uncertainty around the circumstances and concealing what the report described as mounting military setbacks. Citing informed sources, the strike was precise and reflected what it characterized as confusion and deterioration among the factions.

The reported casualties come amid continued losses among forces aligned with Riyadh and Abu Dhabi across various fronts.
