Hind Rajab files complaint in Italy against Israeli soldier for war crimes in Gaza

BRUSSEL, Sept. 22 (YPA) – The Hind Rajab Foundation for Human Rights has filed a criminal complaint in Italy against Israeli soldier Yonatan Shalich, who is on vacation in Tuscany, accusing him of committing war crimes and genocide in Gaza.

 

The organization stated that Shalikh was in the “Tykon” Company of the Givati ​​Brigade under the 401st Brigade, and accused him of participating in the siege and destruction of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza in March and April 2024, the burning of the Haj Hamdi Harzallah Mosque in the Al-Nasr neighborhood in December 2023 while it was under full Israeli control, and the destruction of Palestine Square, the heart of the Al-Rimal commercial district, after it was seized on December 5, 2023, considering this a targeting of a protected place of worship and a violation of international law.
