Hamas condemns Washington’s refusal to grant visas to Palestinian delegation to participate in UN General Assembly

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Hamas condemned on Monday the US administration’s decision of refusal to grant visas to the Palestinian delegation heading to New York to participate in the UN General Assembly for the second year in a row.

 

Spokesman Hazem Qassem said the decision is a blatant violation of international conventions regulating the work of the UN headquarters, a complete bias towards the occupation, and an attempt to prevent the Palestinian narrative from being conveyed.

 

Washington extended the visa ban on Palestinian Authority and PLO officials for the second time in a row, preventing President Mahmoud Abbas from participating.
