Abu Ras: Saudi Arabia targets sanctity of Mecca by gifting Kaaba covering to ‘Epstein’, opening holy lands to entertainment parties

SANAA, Sept. 16 (YPA) – Abdulwahid Abu Ras, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in Sanaa government, affirmed on Wednesday that “those who gifted the covering of the Holy Kaaba to the criminal Jeffrey Epstein are the ones targeting Mecca and Islamic holy sites.”

In a statement to the official “SABA” news agency, Abu Ras stated that those who opened the Land of the Two Holy Mosques to debauchery and entertainment parties, and desecrated it with the presence of Zionist Jews, are the ones targeting Holy Mecca, Medina, and Islamic sacred sites.

He noted that those with covert and overt ties to the Zionist entity are targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque, Mecca, and Islamic sanctuaries, pointing out that the Rukn al-Yamani (Yemeni Corner) symbolizes the deep bond between Yemenis and the Holy Kaaba. Abu Ras added that the Yemeni people have made great sacrifices—including the government of martyrs—in support of Quds and holy sites.

The Deputy Foreign Minister stated, “One of our main grievances with the Saudi regime is its desecration of Islamic holy sites and its support for the enemies of the nation.” He highlighted that millions of Yemeni people take to the streets whenever Islamic sacred entities—whether the Holy Quran, the Prophet, Mecca, Al-Aqsa, or other holy sites—are insulted.

He further asserted that no people on earth possess greater zeal regarding the desecration or defamation of Islamic sanctuaries than the Yemeni people.

Abu Ras concluded by stating, “Zionist mouthpieces must find another pretext to target the descendants of the Ansar, rather than making claims that contradict current stances and historical evidence.”
