Sanaa reaffirms commitment to international obligations on Red Sea navigation

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – The Supreme Political Council in Sanaa has reaffirmed the Republic of Yemen’s commitment to all international obligations regarding navigation in the Red Sea, reiterating its dedication to maintaining safe and stable maritime corridors.

In an official statement released on Thursday, the council stated that clashes in the western coast districts have ceased following the expulsion of Saudi-affiliated military mobilizations (Saudi-backed forces) aiming to threaten the free governorates.

The council called on all parties invested in maritime security to pressure Saudi Arabia to halt the deployment of its military mobilizations to these sensitive areas, thereby ensuring their continued stability and safety.
