US civilian aircraft secretly transport military equipment to Israeli occupation
WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 (YPA) – The American “United Airlines” company has resumed transporting military equipment and spare parts destined for the Israeli occupation military aboard its commercial passenger flights following a suspension lasting over six months, according to shipping data and open-source documents.
The findings are based on an investigative report conducted by four research and human rights organizations, which documented 2,761 military shipments bound for Israeli defense contractors across 160 commercial passenger flights operated by the carrier between July 24, 2025, and February 27, 2026.
A detailed analysis of a sample comprising 546 shipments identified the following components:
- 131 shipments of F-35 fighter jet spare parts.
- 67 shipments of components for other military aircraft and helicopters.
- 28 shipments of parts for tanks, targeting units, and artillery.
- Over 100 shipments of communication systems, radios, helmet-mounted displays, and technical hardware.
Regarding distribution, 2,070 shipments were directed to Elbit Systems, while 78 shipments were routed to Lockheed Martin’s headquarters in “Israel”. The remaining cargo was distributed to the Israeli Ministry of Defense and various air bases.
Logistics data indicates that 2,565 shipments were dispatched directly from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey to Tel Aviv via Flights 84 and 90. Additional cargo originated from airports in Chicago and Washington, supported by 235 consolidated shipments transferred via domestic US feeder flights. The initial resumption flight (Flight 90) carried five military shipments destined for Elbit Systems, including one designated under the US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
