Sanaa forces capture Jabal Al-Nar camp, advance into Mocha as Tariq Saleh’s forces collapse

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Sanaa forces made a major strategic advance on several fronts along Yemen’s western coast on Thursday.

Media sources reported that Sanaa forces stormed several areas in Mocha district and took full control of Jabal Al-Nar military camp, which serves as the command headquarters of Saudi-backed forces in the area.

Media outlets affiliated with Saudi-backed factions also acknowledged what they described as a major defeat.

Al-Jumhuriya TV quoted Tariq Saleh as acknowledging the collapse of his forces on the ground and ordering them to reorganize their ranks and find an alternative command center in a secure location, in consultation with the Saudi-backed Presidential Leadership Council.

The sources added that the Saudi-backed factions withdrew en masse from their main positions along the western coast toward Aden, amid mutual accusations of betrayal and abandonment.
