Sanaa forces shoot down Saudi armed reconnaissance drone over Hajjah

HAJJAH, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Sanaa forces’ air defenses have on Thursday shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle belonging to Saudi forces over the airspace of Yemen’s Hajjah province, the spokesman of Sanaa’s Armed Forces said.

In a statement, Brigadier General Yahya Sarie affirmed that a “karayel” plane belonging to the Saudi air force was shot down in the sky of the province.

He added that the plane was targeted with an appropriate missile while it was carrying out hostile actions in the Yemeni airspace.
