Gaza Health Ministry: Israeli genocidal war death toll mounts to 73,662

GAZA, Sept. 08 (YPA) – The Palestinian Health Ministry’s office in the Gaza Strip said on Tuesday that the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war has risen to 73,662 martyred people, with 174,627 injured, since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report on casualties resulting from the Israeli aggression on the Strip, the Gaza health ministry affirmed that hospitals received four martyrs, including one who succumbed to his wounds, and five injured people over the past 24 hours.

The ministry added the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11 had reached 1,355 martyrs and 4,516 injured, while 827 bodies had been recovered.

“Several victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews remain unable to reach them so far,” it clarified.
