Iran warns US over new missiles, threatens maritime no-go zone

TEHRAN, Sept. 08 (YPA) – Iran’s Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei said on Tuesday that the United States had received a clear warning in recent days regarding Iran’s new missiles.

In a statement, Rezaei affirmed that Tehran would respond to the US economic war by imposing a maritime exclusion zone across the Persian Gulf extending to the area of the US naval blockade.

He added that Iran had fundamentally reassessed its operational posture toward US warships and bases.
