2.9-magnitude earthquake recorded in Dhamar

DHAMAR, Sept. 05 (YPA) – A 2.9-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale recorded on Saturday in Al-Manar district of Dhamar province, according to seismic monitoring stations at the Center for Earthquake and Volcanic Monitoring and Studies.

The center director, Mohammed Al-Houthi, said the tremor occurred at 12:31 a.m., about 11 kilometers northwest of Hammam Ali in Al-Manar district, at a depth of two kilometers, making it felt by residents in the area.
