DAMASCUS, Aug. 30 (YPA) – Israeli occupation artillery targeted the Bat al-Wardah Hill area surrounding the village of Beit Jann in the western countryside of Damascus with two artillery shells on Saturday, according to local monitoring sources.
The Syrian “Sajil” Center reported on social media platform X that the Israeli occupation shelling struck the vicinity of Bat al-Wardah Hill, amidst ongoing military movements and incursions within Syrian territory.
The shelling coincided with an increase in reported violations, including the establishment of temporary checkpoints, the fortification of military positions, the digging of trenches, the construction of earthen berms, and intensified aerial reconnaissance, heightening concerns among local residents.
