Two Palestinians injured in Israeli airstrike on home in Gaza City

GAZA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – Two Palestinians were injured, one critically, in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home in western Gaza City on Thursday, Palestinian media reported, citing medical sources.

According to the sources, ambulance crews transported the two injured Palestinians to Al-Shifa Medical Complex after an Israeli airstrike struck the entrance of a home near Ard Bakr in the Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the Gaza ceasefire agreement by carrying out attacks on residential areas and demolishing homes located behind the Yellow Line, in a clear breach of the agreement’s terms, which call for a halt to military operations.

Since the ceasefire began on October 11, the total number of Palestinians killed has reached 1,303, in addition to 4,336 injured, while 814 bodies have been recovered from the rubble.

Since the beginning of the Israeli war on October 7, 2023, the total number of Palestinians killed has reached 73,438, with 174,447 injured, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
