Domestic gas crisis persists in Aden, southern Yemeni governorates

ADEN, Aug. 23 (YPA) – The domestic gas crisis across Aden city and several Yemeni southern and eastern provinces has entered its second consecutive month, amid local reports of Saudi-backed government inaction and escalating public frustration over black-market price surges.

On Sunday, multiple distribution stations across Aden halted operations and suspended services for both households and vehicles, citing depleted supplies and non-delivery of designated quotas.

The prolonged shortage and deteriorating basic utilities have forced numerous households in southern and eastern areas to resort to firewood for cooking.
