Sanaa forces say Saudi reconnaissance drone shot down over Hajjah

HAJJAH, Aug. 23 (YPA) – A military source within the Sanaa forces stated on Sunday that their air defenses shot down a Saudi military reconnaissance drone over Hajjah governorate, northern the country.

According to the source, the aircraft—identified as a “ScanEagle” spy drone operated by the Saudi army—was intercepted and downed with an appropriate weapon while violating Yemeni airspace over the governorate.
