Israeli occupation forces close only entrance to Al-Mughayyir village, near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, Aug. 23 (YPA) — Israeli occupation forces closed the western entrance to Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, on Sunday morning, preventing citizens from entering or leaving.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces subjected a number of commuters to field interrogations and mistreatment, while firing tear gas canisters at vehicles.

The western entrance is currently the village’s only access point, after Israeli forces closed its eastern entrance in October 2023.

The villages and towns northeast of Ramallah have faced repeated Israeli military raids, alongside continuing attacks by Israeli colonists against Palestinians and their property.
