Intense Zionist settler attacks target Palestinian lands, property across West Bank

WEST BANK, Aug. 08 (YPA) – Radical Zionist settlers, backed by Israeli occupation forces, launched a new wave of pastoral and settlement attacks across multiple West Bank governorates on Saturday, as part of a systematic campaign aimed at forcibly displacing herders and farmers and seizing their lands.

The attacks spanned several areas. In the south of Hebron, Zionist settlers raided agricultural lands in the “Rujum Ali” area of Masafer Yatta and the “Khirbet Al-Kharaba” area in Al-Samou town. Settlers also released their livestock into pastures in the “Hamroush” area east of Sa’ir town, destroying farms and grazing lands.

In Nablus, Zionist settlers vandalized 110 olive trees, destroyed agricultural property, water tanks, and a wall near the town of Deir Sharaf. Meanwhile, in northern Ramallah, settlers continued expansion work on a settlement outpost in the “Gharaba” area, northwest of Sinjil town.

These field escalations form part of a broader pattern of violations. The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 2,256 attacks by Israeli occupation forces and Zionist settlers during July, including 798 settler attacks that resulted in the killing of 7 Palestinians by armed militia fire in Ramallah and Nablus.

The commission also recorded 440 acts of property destruction and land bulldozing, bringing the total number of documented attacks in the first half of 2026 to 11,074.
