GAZA, July 29 (YPA) – The Palestinian Mujahideen Movement on Wednesday strongly condemned what it described as the Israeli targeting of mosques and civilian facilities in the Gaza Strip, including the latest strike on Dar Al-Muttaqin Mosque, calling it a new violation of humanitarian principles, religious values, and international law.
In a statement, the movement said the targeting of mosques reflects a systematic Israeli policy aimed at destroying all aspects of civilian life, and forms part of the ongoing attacks on Islamic holy sites.
The statement also condemned international silence and Arab inaction regarding Israeli actions, saying this had encouraged Israel to continue a campaign of genocide over the past three years.
It called on the Islamic nation and its active forces to take meaningful action in support of Islamic holy sites in Palestine and to provide effective backing for the Palestinian people, who are enduring a severe blockade and sustained military aggression while defending their land and religious sites.
