Gaza death toll mounts to 73,333, health ministry says

GAZA, July 28 (YPA) – The Gaza-based Ministry of Health declared on Tuesday that the death toll from the Israeli genocidal war has risen to 73,333, with 174,023 people injured, since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report on casualties resulting from the Israeli offensive, the ministry said Gaza hospitals received four bodies and 14 injured people over the past 24 hours.

The ministry added that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 last year, the death toll has reached 1,207, with 3,914 injuries recorded, while 803 bodies have been recovered.

It also said that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them.
