RAMALLAH, July 26 (YPA) — Israeli occupation forces tightened their restrictions north of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate in the occupied West Bank on Sunday.
Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces closed the entrance to the town of Sinjil in both directions, disrupting the movement of Palestinian citizens.
The sources added that Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh.
The latest measures come amid ongoing Israeli restrictions across the occupied West Bank, particularly in recent days, which have seen an escalation in attacks by Israeli colonists under the protection of the Israeli military.
According to a report by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, there are more than 916 military checkpoints and gates across the occupied Palestinian territory, including 243 gates installed after October 7, 2023.
