TEHRAN, July 22 (YPA) – The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces warned on Wednesday that any US attack on Iranian infrastructure would be met with a halt to oil exports in the region and the targeting of vital facilities.
The Fars News Agency quoted the headquarters as saying that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, and that the passage of any ship will only be through designated routes and according to pre-announced arrangements.
The statement added that in the event of the US threats being carried out, Iran will not allow the export of “a single drop of oil” and will target oil, gas, electricity, and economic infrastructure in the region.
The headquarters stressed that the continuation of US threats will lead to an expansion of the war in the region, and its repercussions may extend beyond its borders.
