Three Palestinians killed, others injured in ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza

GAZA, July 19 (YPA) – Three Palestinian civilians were martyred and others injured on Sunday as a result of continued Israeli occupation’s attacks on various areas across the Gaza Strip, amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Local sources reported that Osama Kamal Shihda was killed and 10 others were injured after an Israeli strike targeted a tent north of Al-Ribat College in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Five additional civilians were also injured by occupation forces’ gunfire in the same area.

In Gaza City, two Palestinians were killed and their bodies were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex following Israeli artillery shelling that targeted Kashko Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood east of the city overnight.

The Palestinian woman Reda Abu Asr was also killed, and others — including her husband — were injured in Israeli artillery shelling that struck the eastern areas of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, a child was injured by Israeli forces’ gunfire in the Bir 19 area of Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis, while several civilians were injured early Sunday after Israeli shelling targeted a residential apartment in Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City.

The occupation forces also carried out a demolition operation east of Gaza City, alongside artillery shelling targeting the eastern areas of Al-Tuffah neighborhood. The occupation’s military vehicles opened heavy fire south of Khan Younis, while an airstrike was carried out on the northern part of the city.
