Death toll from Israeli occupation attacks on Lebanon rises to 4,328, with 12,229 injured

BEIRUT, July 19 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that the casualty toll from Israeli occupation aggression on Lebanon between March 2, 2026, and July 9 has risen to 4,328 dead and 12,229 injured, driven by ongoing airstrikes and military campaigns.

In a brief statement, the ministry stated that continuous Israeli attacks have resulted in thousands of casualties amid escalating military operations across various regions. This escalation persists despite diplomatic efforts to enforce a ceasefire, most notably the April 17 agreement, which has faced continuous field violations.

On the ground, the National News Agency (NNA) reported a new escalation in southern Lebanon this afternoon, with Israeli occupation forces executing a series of large-scale detonations in the town of Kfar Tibnit.

This escalation coincides with growing concerns over the widening scope of confrontations and a worsening humanitarian crisis, as military operations continue despite regional and international calls to adhere to signed agreements.
