New Israeli incursion reported in Quneitra countryside amid escalating military activity in southern Syria

DAMASCUS, July 18 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces executed a new military incursion into the southern countryside of Quneitra province on Saturday, marking the second such operation within the border region of southern Syria in less than 24 hours.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that an Israeli patrol, comprising three military vehicles, advanced into the vicinity of the Eastern Tell Ahmar area. No raids or arrests were recorded during the operation. This development follows a similar incursion yesterday by an Israeli force toward the Ruwaihina Dam area in the central Quneitra countryside, from which the force withdrew after being confronted by local residents.

The border region in Quneitra continues to witness frequent Israeli movements and incursions, coinciding with ongoing high alerts and escalating security tensions along the border line.
