KHARTOUM, July 18 (YPA) – Sudan’s Minister of Justice, Abdullah Darf, has disclosed legal pathways the authorities intend to pursue to prosecute the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
The minister asserted that Khartoum possesses material evidence and conclusive data proving Abu Dhabi’s involvement in the war and violations against the Sudanese people.
Speaking during an inspection of an exhibition showcasing advanced weapons and military equipment seized by the Sudanese Army from the RSF, the minister explained that forensic and technical examinations of the sophisticated weaponry and drones—manufactured between 2023 and 2025—demonstrated conclusively that the UAE was the officially registered end-user.
Darf stated this confirms direct Emirati involvement in supply and armament. Darf characterized the acts committed as “war crimes and crimes against humanity” executed by the RSF with Emirati supply and facilitation.
In the same context, Darf criticized the International Criminal Court (ICC), expressing Khartoum’s disappointment over what he described as its inaction. He noted that the court has failed to issue arrest warrants against RSF leaders accused of committing genocide in El Geneina, El Fasher, and Al Jazirah State, calling it a “clear shortcoming” despite the clarity of the submitted data.
