Abdulsalam holds Saudi Arabia accountable for Sanaa Airport bombing, vows response

SANAA, July 13 (YPA) – The head of the Sanaa’s national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdulsalam, held the Saudi regime fully responsible for targeting Sanaa International Airport with a number of airstrikes on Monday, describing the attack as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen and a major breach of the 2022 truce.

Abdulsalam explained that this direct military aggression against a sovereign facility constitutes a continuation of the aggression that began by targeting the airport in 2015. He asserted that it reveals the reality of the Saudi regime’s intentions behind the imposed blockade on Yemen and its lack of faith in peace with its neighbors.

He further pointed out that the Saudi regime has persisted in procrastination and rejecting solutions to reopen the airport and proceed with implementing the roadmap and peace obligations since the truce agreement.

Abdulsalam emphasized that this renewed aggression will not go unanswered, as it constitutes a legitimate right to self-defense, homeland, and people, recognized by Islamic Sharia and international laws.
