OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 06 (YPA) – Six Palestinian citizens sustained wounds and bruises on Monday following an attack by Zionist settlers targeting residential homes and lands in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron.
According to Palestinian sources citing anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamreh, approximately 30 armed settlers, operating under the protection of Israeli occupation soldiers, attacked civilian homes in the village of Umm al-Khair in Masafer Yatta after closing the village’s main gate.
Makhamreh added that the attackers assaulted local residents, resulting in injuries to six citizens who subsequently received field medical treatment. Among the targeted properties was the home of Salim al-Hathalin.
The Israeli occupation forces subsequently declared the area surrounding his residence a closed military zone for two days, preventing family members from accessing health facilities and their livestock pen, leaving the animals without feed.
Additionally, Zionist settlers cut the land fencing and electrical wiring of Ayoub al-Masri’s residence in the Khallat al-Homs area, located south of Yatta.
