BERLIN, July 05 (YPA) – A pro-Palestinian demonstration took place in the German capital, Berlin, on Sunday.
In a rally, a large number of demonstrators gathered near Hallesches Tor subway station in the Kreuzberg district before marching toward the city center to protest Israeli military operations in Gaza and Lebanon.
The protesters also demonstrated against genocide in Gaza, the killing of healthcare workers, and the seizure of Palestinian land.
Participants chanted slogans including, “End the occupation,” “Israel is killing children,” “Freedom for Gaza,” “We want justice,” “This is not a war, it is genocide,” and “Zionism is a crime.”
Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and photographs of healthcare workers killed in Palestine, as well as banners reading, “Free Dr. Abu Safiya,” “262 journalists killed,” and “Free Palestine.”
