GAZA, July 05 (YPA) – A Palestinian was killed in an Israeli strike near the Abu Sharkh roundabout, west of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, early Sunday, as Israeli forces continued demolition operations despite the ceasefire agreement.
According to Palestinian sources, Hudaifa Hussein Al-Hawajri was killed in a strike near the same area in northern Gaza.
Israeli forces continued to violate the ceasefire agreement, carrying out demolitions of residential buildings, while armored vehicles fired artillery shells toward areas in eastern Gaza.
Israeli forces also resumed demolition operations in northern Rafah in southern Gaza, alongside heavy gunfire.
In addition, they carried out a demolition operation west of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
An Israeli drone struck the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, while artillery shelling targeted eastern areas of the camp.
According to the Ministry of Health, since the ceasefire began on October 11, the total number of fatalities has reached 1,066, along with 3,445 injuries and 797 bodies recovered.
Since the start of the conflict on October 7, 2023, the death toll has reached 73,090, with 173,553 injured.
