Palestinian Health Ministry: 16 killed, 16 injured as Gaza genocide toll mounts in 48 hours

GAZA, July 04 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that the death toll from the Israeli occupation genocide since October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,090, with 173,553 injured.

In its daily statistical report on the Israeli aggression, the ministry confirmed that hospitals received 16 martyrs and 16 injured during the past 48 hours (including 6 newly killed, 1 who succumbed to sustained injuries, and 9 recovered bodies). It further noted that the casualty toll since the October 11 ceasefire has reached 1,066 martyrs and 3,445 injured, alongside 797 recovered bodies.

The ministry concluded by stating that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams remain unable to reach them.
