US Navy searches for pilot missing after Seahawk helicopter lands in Arabian Sea

SANAA, July 02 (YPA) – The US Navy announced that a crew member of an SH-60C “Hawk” helicopter was missing after it made an emergency landing in the Arabian Sea on Wednesday.
 
In a statement, Naval Forces Central Command said that the helicopter, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush, landed at sea, noting that there were no indications of hostile action.
 
The statement added that three of the four crew members were rescued and are in stable condition aboard the carrier, while the search continues for the missing crew member.
 
It explained that the cause of the incident is still unknown and is under investigation.
