Top Sanaa official blames Saudi Arabia for road blockades, attacks attributed to Fadgham

SANAA, June 29 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based authorities have intensified its rhetoric against Riyadh following recent actions attributed to Hamad bin Fadgham, accusing the Saudi government of responsibility for road blockades, attacks on travelers, thefts, and killings.

This was stated in a press remark by Mohammed Al-Farah, a member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau, who held the Saudi authorities fully responsible for any incidents involving the obstruction of roads, robbery of travelers, seizure of property, or loss of life, arguing that such acts occur in areas under Saudi control and its allied forces.

According to the official Saba News Agency, Al-Farah said the Saudi side must understand it bears responsibility for such actions and for preventing them.

He added that Fadgham is “nothing more than a mercenary and a tool of the Saudis,” acting under a false and baseless pretext, and claimed that only a naïve, misled, or traitorous person would believe or follow him.

Al-Farah stated that their position, as he described it, is a defense of truth against what he called Saudi aggression and its affiliates, who are misleading the public with “fabricated claims.”

He further argued that if Sumaya Al-Zubairi had a legitimate claim, she would have pursued it through tribal authorities in Iraq and among her relatives there, noting that her inheritance lies in Iraq rather than Yemen.

Al-Farah also warned those being deceived or financially enticed into participating in conflicts serving external agendas to abandon a mercenary path hostile to Yemen and its people, adding that any acts of aggression would be met with a firm and uncompromising response.
